Medusa jewellery carries a range of materials such as 925 sterling silver, stainless steel, gold plated, gold filled and solid gold.
Solid gold is the most valuable form of jewellery. It will not tarnish and is hypoallergenic.
Gold plated jewellery requires more care than other forms. Gold plated jewellery will tarnish with time. To ensure your gold plated jewellery lasts as long as possible, it is important to avoid exposure to water, lotions and perfumes.
Affordable and durable. Gold filled jewellery has a thick layer of gold over a base metal. It is one of the most tarnish resistant forms of jewellery. If cared for correctly, your gold filled pieces have the potential to last a lifetime.
Sterling silver jewellery is one of the most popular forms of jewellery. It contains a mixture of 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals. If properly cared for, your sterling silver pieces can last a life time. However, if its quality is not maintained, it will tarnish.
Stainless steel is the new sterling silver. All of our stainless steel jewellery is hypoallergenic, eco-friendly and affordable. It is highly durable and is able to withstand the wear and tear of everyday activities. Stainless steel jewellery contains a mixture of different metal alloys, such as chromium and molybdenum.

At Medusa, our jewellery is handcrafted with love and care.
To keep your jewellery in optimal condition, kindly follow these guidelines:
Do not wear your jewellery whilst showering, swimming and exercising.
Store your jewellery in a cool, dry space, out of direct sunlight (preferably in its original box). This ensures your pieces are protected from the elements of daily exposure.
Remove jewellery when sleeping.
Avoid contact with lotions and perfumes.
Do NOT clean your jewellery with harsh chemicals.
Use our lint-free cloth to polish your jewellery. Do not use the cloth directly on gems and keep the cloth clean and dry.
Never use toothpaste or a harsh brush when cleaning your jewellery. Toothpaste contains an abrasive formula which will dull your jewellery's shine.
Medusa will NOT be held responsible for the maintenance of your jewellery.
